I’ll be going to Taipei on Monday, covering Computex 2008, one of the largest IT exhibition in the world. I’ve not started packing my luggage yet but these will be the few things that I need to bring.
My pendrives
Memory cards for my camera
My brand new Sony Recorder for the interviews (got this from Sony as door gift this morning)
My name cards
My phones
My passport
My trusty Canon 350D
Vitamin Ms
One of these to do work
These are only some of the stuff that I need to take.
I need the pendrives to save my work.
I need the CF cards for my camera, which I’ll be using to take pictures of the booths.
I need the recorder for my interviews. Got it this morning, Sony door gift!
I need my passport. Mont Blanc passport holder, given as door gift by Sony as well! Damn they are rich!
I need at least 2 boxes of name cards to give out. Don’t even know if it’s enough or not.
I need my phones. For people to contact me but please don’t contact me, I don’t want to pay through my nose on roaming charges
I need money. Who doesn’t need money? Let me know. I’ll gladly take them off your hands now.
I need to do work while I’m there. I don’t know which to bring. The HTC Shift is a review unit but the keyboard is a bit uncomfortable. My ASUS EeePC is light and it’s mine, so if anything happens, it’s still not too bad. The MSI Wind Notebook is due to launch in Computex itself. Don’t really want to bring it and cause too much attention. Furthermore, it’s a review unit.
I still need to pack my CHIP shirts, CHIP magazine for the advertisers, the numerous chargers for my gadgets, toiletries and some other stuff that I can’t remember right now.
The worst part is, I am suppose to fit all these into this thing.
I think I need a bigger bag!
