I am tired from my assignments and reviews, might as well do something else. Sadly it still involves writing!
This is my first ever tag in this blog. Tagged by my cousin in Leeds, England, United Kingdom, Earth, Solar System…you get the picture.

RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME!
1. I have back problems
I blogged about it here, here and here. I can’t do heavy sports, I can’t lift heavy stuff and I can’t walk for too long.
It all started in 2003, consulted numerous doctors, had a micro-lumbar disectomy 3 weeks before I went to England for studies and everything was fine. Last year it happened again, didn’t work for 1 year, had an epidural injection. Now it’s fine. Hope it won’t come back again.
2. I am a gadget freak
I am a sucker for gadgets. Be it a mobile phone, PDA, laptops, cameras, some never-seen-before gadgets, you name it, I’ll want it. My love for gadgets started at a young age, when I first got my Casio digital watch that cost RM55. My dad got one each for me and my brother. I was amazed at how these people can invent stuff that are so small that it could be fitted on to your wrists.
The gadgets I have right now is (not bragging) the Apple iPhone (8GB), ASUS EeePC, a few mobile phones, a China made TV remote control that could control any TV with an IR receiver, a MacBook, a Fossil Abacus watch, an Apple iPod Touch 16GB, an Apple iPod Shuffle 1GB (second generation), a Canon EOS 350D and some other stuff that I can’t really remember on top of my nugget.
I spend most of my money on gadgets. I need to stop spending money on these stuff already, but there is still the ASUS EeePC 900, Sigma 18-200mm OS lens, the Canon 40D, the Garmin Nuvi 200w…the list goes on…
3. I love cars
Yes. I do. My dream car is the Ferrari F40 and my favourite car is the Subaru Impreza WRX STI (S203). If given a choice of a Subaru Impreza and a Ferrari, I’ll go for the Impreza anytime. Unless it’s the F40, then it’s a different story.

4. I speak three languages and two dialects
I speak English, Malay and Mandarin. I also speak Hokkien and Cantonese. I have a lot of comments from my friends that I don’t look like I know Mandarin or Cantonese. They said I look like a “banana”, i.e. yellow outside, white inside. However it’s quite common to be multi-lingual in Malaysia but when you get out of Malaysia, that’s really something.
My housemates in England were amazed that I speak Mandarin with some of my friends and Cantonese with my other friends, while speaking English to them. And that’s just 3, I haven’t showed them that I could speak in Malay and Hokkien too!
According to my dad, I used to be able to speak Pigeon, the spoken language in Papua New Guinea, when I was 6 and studying there. I can’t remember a single phrase. I still know “kai kai” is eat though!
5. I have the longest relationship with the same girl among my friends
Eileen and I have been together since 14th June 2000, close to eight years now, and we are still going strong! She is my first girlfriend and will be my last girlfriend. I am her first boyfriend, and hopefully her last as well. *cross fingers*

6. I always end my sentences in chatrooms, SMSes, forums and unofficial emails with “hehe”
It’s my version of LOL. I don’t know why, “hehe” will just be there at the very end…hehe…Saudy, one of my Pakistani friend in England who is also Ken’s housemate, always greet me with a big smile, adding “hehe” to thing he says when he’s talking to me, in real life! hehe…It’s just a habit…hehe…Can’t change it anymore…hehe…
7. My weekends are robbed from me since December 2006
I started my MBA course in December 2006 and classes are usually on weekends. I have no more weekends since then. Monday to Friday in the office, Saturday and Sunday in SEGi College. I will be finishing my course this October, hopefully. I am in my second year now, specializing in Project Management. It’s a twinning course thingy from University of Southern Queensland, Australia.
8. I don’t read books
I’ve never finished a book in my life. I have plenty of books in my room but they are all decors. Usually I’ll start reading and stop at Chapter 2. I need to read more! I just bought iWoz the other day and I don’t know where I put it. I think my brother took it with him to Australia. It serves its purpose more in my brother’s hands.
And it’s ironic I write for a magazine for a living!
There you go. Eight totally random facts about me. Now I have to tag eight people. I don’t have many friends who blog, so I’ll just tag xiao-ahmei…hehe…

having an epidural injectiton is no joke.
liked the cars that u favoured as it’s mine too hehe
Hi Johnny,
I had the epidural injection last year, and yes, it’s no joke. I went through pain that no normal person could imagine.
The F40 has always been my dream car. Even when I was still in primary school.
The S204 is my favourite car. A car that I *might* be able to afford since it’s not priced like RM2.5 million or something like that.
Anyway, thanks for dropping by!
Nice, thanks
