I just read my brother’s blog and he was talking about looking back into our lives.
As you guys might (or might not know) that I was a really big fan of Transformers. I wrote two entries on it previously on Optimus Prime and Megatron. However, the interest faded slowly and my interest has been on gadgets and computers.
When my brother was back last month, he bought an Ultimate Bumblebee. I wanted to buy one when it was launched but I wasn’t working then and money was kinda tight for me back then. Now I’ve lost interest in it.
Anyway, We spent two hours transforming the Camaro to a Bumblebee, then back to a Camaro again. It was 4am when we finished. It really brought back the good memories when we were young. We had so many toys that my mum had to limit us and not let us buy anymore. We were one of the luckier ones to have plenty of toys.
My brother’s Ultimate Bumblebee

I grew out of it sooner than my brother. He still loves toys, even until today (hence the Ultimate Bumblebee). We had Ninja Turtles, Transformers, M.A.S.K., numerous Lego sets, Thunder Cats, Ghost Busters and a lot more. Then I stopped. My brother didn’t stop there, he continued playing toys/figurines like Evangelions and more Legos.
Unlike my brother, I never had passion in one hobby. Like when we first got our PlayStation, it was my birthday present. I got bored of it and only played a few games but my brother, he bought more and more games and never gets bored with it.
Then it’s the PlayStation 2. I bought one and my brother bought one in Australia. He is still playing his to this day, mine is next to my monitor collecting dust.
So the third console, I made a wise (i think) choice. I bought a Nintendo Wii for him. But I bought it 2 months earlier and played with it. After the 2 months, I got bored (expected) and I gave it to him. He was happy, I was happy.
I still like to buy toys once in a while. A few days back I bought a Ferarri. Not the real one. Shell have this thing going on where you pump RM40 of petrol and buy a Ferarri for RM8.90. I bought my all time favourite car, the Ferarri F40.
I guess I’ll never grow out of toys.

Yeah, good memories…still wondering what’s in the storage in Sam Pak’s house.
I wanted to get some back…but Sam Pak is so adamant and didn’t let me look at it…geez…i think he’s trying to stop me from playing toys.
But I guess he doesn’t know how stubborn I am.
Warm Regards,
Vance
