First of all, Merry Christmas to everyone! I know my wishes are a bit late but it’s better late than never right?
Anyway, Christmas always marked that the end of the year is approaching. This is when everyone will make their new years resolution and also a review on 2007. This entry will be review of my life in 2007. My resolutions will be in the next entry.
I’ve been through ups and downs this year. A very eventful year for me. I’ve blogged most of it here but there are some that I didn’t blog. I’ll try my best to list it down. Please bear in mind that these are not in chronological order, I’ll try my best to put it in that order.
In 2007, I:
- started my Master Of Business Administration in SEGi College
- went through countless interviews
- Met David Wang from myMacBUZZ.com, Malaysia’s premier Macintosh and iPod weblog, and subsequently write for myMacBUZZ
- test drove a BMW Z3 that my dad wanted to buy
- witness my dad lost RM12,000 in the casino
- visited countless doctors, sen-seis, si-fus, massage therapist as my back problems came back
- went to Sabak Bernam to help Koon setup his computer networks and at the same time experience village lifestyle
- celebrated my grandmother’s 80th birthday
- had a reunion with John Cumbers when he came to visit us from US
- was hospitalized for 3 days because my back problem got worse and I went through physical pain that no normal person could imagine
- had another reunion with Geri, Rachel and friends
Rachel, Geri, Denise and Nicole
- caught the Transformers bug
- wrote a short intro of who I am to serve as an “About Me” for my blog
- had an interview, got the job and started working again after one year of “resting”

- went to my first event and enjoyed every bit of it
- attended A LOT OF events after that and loved all of it
- got my first DSLR from the company and will continue my pursuit of taking better photographs
- traded in my Sony CyberShot H5 prosumer camera for a Canon EOS 350D DSLR
- had my first official “overseas” trip
- got my first business card
- attended my brother’s graduation in Sydney, Australia
- manned my company’s PC Fair booth at the PC Fair with my colleagues and it was fun!
- felt a bit down for a few days but everything is alright now
- won two phones in 2 days, lost Nintendo Wii Boxing to a girl
- got my iPhone
That’s about it. I’ve had my ups and downs this year, got to know a few new friends (yes, xiao-ahmei, you are one of the new friends), got a job that I’ve been dreaming of and also have access to all the coolest gadgets in the world.
I am also glad that I have the care and support of my friends and family during my period of hospitalization. I am really blessed that I have you guys to watch over my back, no pun intended.
So let’s just put 2007 behind and look forward to 2008. Do what you want but set your priorities right. Have faith in your Gods. Be kind to everyone and most of all, start the new year with hope. Let’s embrace the new year together and be happy and healthy
