I am sorry for not updating my blog for such a long time. Work has really been piling up. It’ll change from today onwards as the my part in the magazine is done, so that leaves me time to blog.
I’ve been spending too much money lately. I got my iPod Touch, i got an ASUS Eee PC and I am planning to get an IS lens for my 350D and also an iPhone. I might scrap the idea of getting an iPhone. I’ll see how it goes.
Spent my money on this thing
ASUS Eee PC with my iPod Touch (Yes, I have a jailbroken Touch)
ASUS EeePC with FTEC with Acer With Macbook (FTEC and Acer are review units)
My class just started yesterday. I had a full day class on Sunday, that goes my life. I will be taking two subjects this semester, Strategic Management and Organizational Behavior. Both are interesting subjects but it’s just that I don’t really know if I could cope with it now that I am working.
I have a bit of problem with my course as well. You see, I am majoring in Project Management but the thing is, not many people are majoring in the same major as I am, so there won’t be any classes for it. I’ll have to take a distance learning thing where I can only communicate with my lecturers in Australia, instead of attending lectures in a normal classroom type. I am still thinking if I should go for Project Management. I might just take a general MBA and live with it, not that it’s any bad anyway.
PC Fair is coming and I’ll be at the fair to help out. My magazine has a booth there to sell subscriptions. There will be free gifts and also discounts. Drop me a comment and I’ll tell you where my booth is. Not really ready to reveal my magazine yet (although my name card is posted in my previous entry).
I’ve been attending A LOT of events for the past month. So many that we couldn’t include all the event news in the news section of the magazine. Some of the stuff I got for free in my events:
- Plenty of T-Shirts (as usual) including one super cool Apple Mac OS X t-shirt
- Some pens and key chains (also usual)
- 45 items from Intel’s 45nm processor launch
- A Cross pen from Samsung’s LCD TV launch (these pens are expensive!)
- An imported 2GB thumbdrive from Lenovo
- A 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo from Sony
And the best of all (not really an expensive gift but it’s practical), a mobile phone from LG!
FREE!
Free LG Phone with Nokia XpressMusic 5310 (Review Unit)
The phone is a VERY basic phone that only lets you receive and make calls, SMS, and some very basic functions. It doesn’t event have a camera or a memory expansion slot. Heck, it doesn’t even have WAP functions but I like it. The fact that it is a phone, nothing else, makes me like it even more. I don’t really use a lot of the functions on my Sony Ericsson M600i anyway. The battery life is superb as well and it is super light. I can’t even feel it in my pocket!
Anyway, I’ll post a mini review of the Eee PC in my next entry since Brian linked me

Hope to see more posts on the Asus EEE performance. How is the wireless thingy performing?
i have a draft on the eeepc in my blog. I need to do some adjustments first. But to your question, the wireless is doing fine. I am using the advance mode of xandros Linux. And for some reason,it is easier for me compared to the default easy mode. Hehehe.
