Some updates and my back

Lack of updates from me.  Kinda tied up these days.

So where was I, oh yeah, exams and assignments.  Well I finished that, Done my assignment and handed it up on time.  The exam was OK, I guess I could pass.

Then I bought computers for my dad’s company in Papua New Guinea, liaising with the people over there to get specifications of their computers, so that I could update and upgrade them.

I’ve decided to sell of my Sony Ericsson P990i.  Found a buyer and he wanted to trade in his Sony Ericsson W850i.  I accepted the offer and will be giving the Sony Ericsson W850i to Eileen for her birthday.

Now on to more serious stuff, my back.  These few days it’s gone from bad to worse.  My right leg is aching like hell.  I can’t even sit, stand and sleep properly.  Went to the doctor yesterday morning, he said there are currently two options, i.e. surgery and a steroid jab followed by physio therapy.  Surgery is obviously the last resort.

I guess I’ll be going for the steroid jab.  Physio therapy alone won’t help because the previous surgery scarred my disc and my nerves are sticking on to my disc, causing severe pain.  The steroid jab will release sticking and the physio therapy will get the disc back to its normal position.

Everyone in my family including Eileen is very tensed now.  Yat Yat came to my house yesterday and saw my condition, he too felt that I am suffering.  And I am suffering like hell.

So wish me luck and all the best for my recovery please.  Thanks.

Busy!

I’ve been very busy these days.  That explains why the lack of updates.

I was helping my dad buying computers for his business in Papua New Guinea.  I’ll also be helping him in setting up the networks there, upgrading of the existing computers and a few computing related stuff.

He also asked me to find a person to design a website for his business there.  Besides that, a leaflet of the condominum he is building over there.  I asked Frederick to do it because I’ve worked with him and I know how good his desinging is.

I handed my freelance article to Ken as well and my previous job was published.

I have been studying for my exam as well, which is taking place in about 6 hours from now.

I have also been struggling to do my assignment, which is due on on Tuesday, 8pm.  I hope I will be able to make the dateline.

Ok, now I have to get some sleep, wake up earlier tomorrow and do a last minute revision, then off to college!

Good night guys/gals!

P.S. Wishing me all the best and good luck in my assignments and exams.

Bought new phone!

I bought a Sony Ericsson P990i last week!

It’s a very nice phone at first, but after a few days using it, I got bored of it.  Haha.  Maybe because I’ve been using a Sony Ericsson M600i and the P990i is about the same specification and functions.

I’ll post a review of it later, when I don’t feel lazy, that is…

Reunion

Had a reunion with my university mates last night.  Ken, Andrew and Rainbow, Koon and Christine,  Chee Seng just came back from Redang.  I had the chance to go, but due to my back problems, I didn’t go.  If I were to go, I’d be paying much cheaper as well, regretted, but never mind, I’ll just tend to my back and I’ll organize another one!

We had dinner with John and his fiancée as well.  They just came back from the US, where John is based. Had dinner in Taman Megah (I think; I have no sense of direction).  We talked about life in England.  It was nice reminiscing the good old days.  He is getting married in July 2008.  So all of us will be flying off to Kuching.  It’ll be my first time to East Malaysia, if I don’t go there before July 2008.

John is someone you could really talk to.  His thinking is one in a million.  One of his motto in life is to study everything under the sun.  I won’t blog too much on him because if I do, I have to spend countless nights writing it.

Anyway, woke up early in the morning and had McDonald’s breakfast with Eileen before she goes off to work.  Went to the bank with my mum to open a joint account in PJ but we couldn’t do it because there is something wrong with my MyKad.  It seems that the card reader couldn’t read it.

Waking up early tomorrow to get my Mykad replaced.

Good night guys/gals!
