Sony Ericsson P990i

I’ve been thinking of getting a Sony Ericsson P990i.  Its price is too cheap not to get it.  An AP set (sets that are imported, warranty provided by the supplier only, not from Sony Ericsson Malaysia) is abour RM1150 to RM1200.  Considering its price when it was realeased not too long ago, it’s really a bargain.

I know I have the Sony Ericsson M600i, but the P990i has something that I’ve always wanted on my phone, Wi-Fi.  I’ve always wanted Wi-Fi on my phone, so that I could surf the net for free, and faster too.

I’m not too sure about it.  If I get the phone, I’ll have one extra phone.  These are the things that I might do:

  • Sell one of my phones, get money out of it and but the P990i
  • Give one of my phones to Eileen

I think I’ll be going for the second option.

I am still not sure if i should get the P990i or not.  Sony Ericsson’s top of the line phone for RM1100 is a super bargain.

If I do get a job, I’ll get it the moment i receive my employment letter.  So let’s cross our fingers and hope Justin gets a job!

Better than expected

That was what May’s boss told her, she told Alan and Alan told me. I thought the interview went alright too. I could answer all questions asked by Daniel Lim, the Sales Director and also the HR Director.

I reached the office at about 1.45pm, filled in some forms and waited for them to call me for the interview.
At about 2.00pm, I was led to a meeting room, the sales director came in, followed by the HR director. They asked me some questions and I managed to answer all of them. I guess all the interviews before this paid off. I think my MBA course also made me speak better and also more confidence in answering questions.

The interview lasted about 30 minutes, then I went home. Called Alan and asked about it. I know it’s too early for him to know anything, but I was just too anxious.
Later at night, Alan called me and told me that the boss said I was better than expected and there are still about three or four more candidates to go through.

They told me I’ll get an answer by early June. I hope everything goes well. Wish me luck guys!

Job Interview on Wednesday

Jobs are pouring in to my life. Well, not really “pouring” in, but I’ve got an interview to attend and also some freelance stuff.

I have an interview with AstraZeneca on Wednesday. The position I am interiewing for is Data Administrator. It’s basically analysing data from suppliers and customers for the bosses to see. I am also supposed to recommend stuff that could make jobs easier for the other people in the company.

Well, I guess I’ll know more when I go for the interview on Wednesday. The boss/HR called me this morning to ask me for an interview today, but I was not prepared today, I don’t even know how to go to the office. What I am going to do for today and tomorrow:

  • Find my way to the office before I and lost. I have no sense of directions at all.
  • Find proper clothes and see if they still fit. I have not been in to my work clothes for more than 8 months andI think I’ve lost some weight, or gain some, not too sure.
  • Read through the Job Description and also go through my Resume, they might ask me stuff on my Resume.
  • Learn more about the company, I know they are a pharmaceutical company but I have no idea of the products they are offering.

UPDATES

Wish me luck for the interview!

On another note, also about jobs, Ken just called me and told me that there are some freelance editing work for me. I decided to take it up and earn some extra bucks. I’ll be tallking to him tonight about this.

When I say jobs are pouring in, it really does. I have been offered to write freelance for a travel magazine, still discussing about the details.

There are two companies wanting to interview me after they saw my resume on Jobstreet, which have not been updated for more than 6 months.  I must be on a roll!

Added RAMs

I added some RAM into my Macbook. OK, not just “some” RAM, I maxed out the RAM that my Macbook could support, 2GBs worth of memory. It’s running fast now.

Spent RM300 for 2GBs, quite a reasonable price me thinks.

Plenty of RAMs for me now!

Updates

Wow, I really have to get this blog going. I’ve been out for a while, so here is a little update.

My grandmother celebrated her 80th birthday last month at Shangari-La Hotel. The event was grand, a lot of people attended and we were in our best clothings. Eileen attended the event as well. My dad and my brother gave speeches, both were great.

I just finished both my assignments and help Eileen finished all 3 of her assignments last week. It was hectic, I don’t know if I did well or not, I’m just glad that I managed to pass mine up on time. I have another assignment due middle of June, but I’m a procastinator, I’ll *try* to get it done before I go through another last minute kind of thing.

Last weekend, I celebrated Mother’s day with my mum. We had dinner at Chilli’s in Bangsar, the meal was nice. It was filling too.

Not much updates on my back. I think I am feeling better, but I am not very sure. I’ve been following the doctor’s advice to sleep in a correct posture, I’ve been drinking the medicine he gives me, but I still dont know if I’m feeling better or not. Maybe I need a little while to see differences.

Went to the Perodua showroom to have a look at the new Perodua Viva. It’s a very nice car and suprisingly spacious for a car its size. I like the way that the doors could open to a full 90 degrees.

I told Eileen to change her Kelisa to a Viva but I don’t think she wants to fork out a few hundred Ringgit every month just yet.

Oh yeah, my brother just gave me his Sony Ericsson M600i. It’s a very nice phone and I just love the screen size. It’s BIIIIG! I am now using a Sony Ericsson W810i and a Sony Ericsson M600i. I have now a collection of five Sony Ericssons! Thanks bro!

I don’t think I am going to get the iPhone after its delays and delays and delays. It’s being delayed in the US and I reckon Apple is going to release it in 2009, or fourth quater of 2008 earliest. The hype of it has just wear out on me.

Last week I exchanged my Sony Ericsson M600i with Quo Qian with this for one week:

What is it you asked?

It’s a water bottle? It’s too small to be a water bottle.

It’s a dummy phone? Half correct, it’s a fully functional mobile phone! Cool eh?

Still don’t believe?

Here’s a pic of me calling myself!

Believe it!

That’s it for this entry, I will *try* to update my blog more often. Stay tuned!
